Today is the last day that McKenna will be the age of 5. As Dad was walking her to school today here is the conversation:
Dad: "McKenna, this is the last day I can give you a hug and a kiss before you go to school as a five year old"
McKenna, "Ya, cuz remember Dad, one day you are going to have to give me away"
Then after school in the car with Mom:
Mom: "What do you think is going to happen while you sleep tonight since you will be 6 years old tomorrow"
McKenna: "Awwwhhh, mooommmm, now your freaking me out, I don't want you and Daddy to give me away"
Mom: "We will never give you away"
McKenna: "Well in that case, I think when I wake up, I'll be so tall, my feet will be hanging off the bed"
Mom, "We'll see about that"

Happy Birthday to McKenna. What a silly girl tell her she isn't going anywhere b/c she has an important job of giving hugs and kisses out to her Mom and Dad and Sister from all of us over here who can't be there to celebrate her day. Aaand she has to mentor Ellie on how to be an excellent Kitty Cat.
