Boy have we extending the holiday we call Halloween. We started a week early and never stopped and now we have so much candy that . . . well, we are going to have to do something about that . . . but not until our tummies are aching a bit.
Last weekend my friend Laurel came to visit with her girls, Jordan and Camille. It is always a sure fact that when our girls get together there will be fun. FUN. FUN. We are talking late nights, movies, treats, special breakfasts, adventure, mayhem, laughing and good memories. We took them to our newly favorite castle, Burg Eltz to share in the fantasy that is castles of Germany.
That night we headed to base to enjoy the Fall Festival. We experienced trunk or treat and lots of games and best of all, Mark's band entertained all within ear shot. Here is a bit of it:

The next day was spent getting our pumpkins ready. The girls worked so hard on their creations and I was proud of the results, especially after we lite them up! Bailey's is a ghost and McKenna's is Cinderella, thanks to Dad. Jordan made a vampire and Camille made a cat! So great!

very nice! Glad you guys had friends to share Halloween with. Sounds and looks like you all had a ton of fun. Love the pumpkins too so glad you could carve them up. All the girls did such a great job very creative.
I too feel like Halloween was just extended this year. There was so many festivities, but it was fun. We too have way too much candy, and unfortunaetly, alot of it will probably go to waste.
