Tooth Fairy's not perfect and Hootin and Howlin Part 2

The Tooth Fairy is one of those iconic ideas that are perfection, you know, like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, never fail, spot on, right on the mark, hit the nail on the head . . . . but the Frandsen's found out there is a kink in the perfection.

Friday night Bailey lost a tooth, a big molar, pretty significant. I helped her get her tooth in a baggie and watched exactly where she placed it under her pillow. I promise, I was there, and a witness to said placement of tooth. Well, She didn't come! What in the world?! How is that possible? What could possibly distract Her from her duty?! Mark and I (and Bailey) were just flabbergasted! Has this happened to anyone else?!

Bailey, being the compassionate and forgiving soul that she is (and lets not forget wanting for funds) decided to start some correspondence with The Tooth Fairy, here is how it went the following night:

Dear Tooth Fairy,
Did you not come last night? Because I did loose my tooth and I did put it under my pillow.
Wondering, B

Dear B,
Sorry about last night. Halloween scares me!
TF

So let this be a lesson to you all, don't loose your teeth on Halloween, it's the Tooth Fairy's day off.

Here are a few more pictures from our continuation of Halloween "week":

I had to include this great pumpkin! The queen even had jewels on her! It of course won best pumpkin award and I just couldn't stop staring at it! Such creativity!

I didn't realize the Tooth Fairy was such a scardy cat! She must of had to work double time to catch up. I love the picture on McKenna hang'in with all the little Princesses. So cute.

Looks like your Halloween was GREAT too! Love all the pics! I don't blame the Tooth Fairy Halloween is no place for a fairy to run into a Witch. Boo to you. Grandma!

what a cool pumpkin! Way too technical for me. The Tooth Fairy does happen to have days off sometimes. They usually happen when you least expect it, but it happens. (We know from experience.)

Don't worry, the TF sometimes has nights where he/she just has had too much work to do and doesn't show up. It's a darn good thing they're forgiven for the small mishaps on the job.

Oh Yes... the TF has had some mishaps at our home too. See this blog entry: http://aaronjanelle.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Don't feel bad, NOONE is perfect!

Hey Leslie - loved your Halloween pics! And Bailey's sweet letter to the TF. Haha! It was fun to see ward pics of the adorable kids dressed up. Made me miss the ward yet again. Matt Hammond is going to do a minor operation on Matt's eye in early December so maybe we'll get to see some old friends!

We miss you guys tons and hope you guys got lots and lots of candy for halloween! We sure did and the kids locked it up in the safe so Mommy didn't eat it all (no joke!)!!!!
