Fall Splendor

Really, that is the perfect way to describe it. This particular day we didn't have an agenda, we just had the goal of a pretty drive, a brat for lunch and family time. As we were driving we saw a part of the road where you could park and there were walking trails all around. This is what we found, a huge forest full of trees bursting with color so much that they couldn't even hold onto their leaves. They were falling down all around us, like a soft snowfall but with leaves. I've never seen anything like it! Beautiful and so peaceful. So here are some shots from the day and a little video of the falling:

And what could top off such a perfect day? What? Did you say Chocolate? I completely agree, so I dropped some Dove chocolates into my shopping cart and tore into them before we even got the car started. Really, my karma was spot on as the first chocolate popped into my mouth had this little message:

Why, thank you kind chocolate makers, you made my day even better!

How beautiful!! You are so lucky. Great pictures too! Can you send me a copy of the one of you and Mark and the one of the girls together? I would like to print them out and put them on my "Family board" at work.

Have a happy weekend!! (It's homecoming week here, GO AGGIES!!)
