Well here comes another year in the life of Mark! I just can't wait to see the adventures we will get to share with him as we continue this ride of a musician's life. I turned out to be a bad wife this birthday morning as my sweet man left bright and early to once again hit the musical highway. He will be away from us this year on his big day. Just for the record I did NOT forget! I have sweet treat plans for the day he arrives back home, but as he left this morning, twice he came in to say goodbye hoping to hear birthday wishes from his sweetheart. In the morning my eyes may be open but my mind is still in lala land dreaming of more sleep. So unfortunately my mind did not catch up with my eyes in time for well wishes. Luckily McKenna was able to sing birthday wishes to him right before he flew away. And here is a treasure as I was perusing the cyber world of birthday songs. This one's for you babe, you are my Mr. President! Look at it this way, I'll owe you even more upon your return!

To My Man

Happy Birthday to Mark! I know how you feel about not being able to celebrate a birthday properly. Lee has had a convention planned for the past 3 years over his birthday and it is happening again this year. The poor guy just never seems to get a break. He doesn't mind though.
Thanks for the b-day post!!! It is hard to be away for this and other important days in our family. I wish you all could be here in Spain to see the landscape and the sunflowers. Muchas gracias mi amor y te amo.
