Out with a BANG!

Saying goodbye to someone is never easy and it seems like we have been doing a lot of it lately. But, really, if you have to say goodbye why not do it right, throw a huge party and sing and dance into the wee night hours. That is exactly what we did as we regretfully say goodbye to Jason and Keisha. John and Jamie, here is a shout out to you for hosting the shindig, thanks so much!

For those of you who don't know, Keisha is one of the vocalists in the rock band that Mark plays in. If you ask Mark how to describe Keisha these are the words that would come from his heart: professional through and through, hardworking, genuine, easy on the eyes (lets just be honest beautiful inside and out), big time fun, very classy, extremely talented with a range of style that is hard to beat, and finally a good person to have in your corner. My girls have found a connection with this fun lovin' gal who can bring the house down at any party. With Keisha in the room you can't help but feel warm sunshine on your face and in your heart! Thank you for taking an interest in my girls and being such a good friend to my man.

I tried really hard to capture Keisha's talent the night of the party. Unfortunately the lighting was so poor and you can't see her very well. BUT you can hear her and let me tell you friends you're in for a sweet treat!

The next clip is hands down my favorite song that Keisha sings. Aretha darlin' you have some stiff competition here, watch out! And let me just add how incredibly difficult it was to plant my feet to record this song when every fiber in my body wanted to break out in dance and song. It was worth it as I now have this jewel in my video arsenal to pull up when every I feel like it.

This song is appropriate to end on as Keisha and Fish sing "Family". When a musical group comes together and forms some magic it really feels like a family reunion. So, as we say goodbye to Jason and Keisha we wish them great luck and happiness in their new home and know that she will shine on and provide much entertainment to her new band. As John said, "our loss is their gain and they are lucky to have you!"

Leslie thanks so much for such kind words! You guys are such a great family and I am a better person for knowing you guys. I'm thankful that I've gotten to peek into and be a part of your lives...if only for a moment. I look forward to running into you guys again in the future! Blessings to the Fab 4!

Leslie - just had to leave a quick note. This morning our little family had quite the dance party around the kitchen - dancing to Mark's tunes! John is a huge fan of Mark's bass and the kids loved having a good beat to dance to! Very, very fun. Jackson couldn't stop giggling from his high chair watching all the craziness! Thanks for a fun moment!
