Such a GIRL!

So last night as I was perusing a new book that finally came in snail mail, the house became quiet . . . a little too quiet when a 3 year old is still awake. So I started to investigate, was it Angela again? what was the mess (or should I say art) that I was about to find? Well this is what I found: my little 3 year old playing with my sexy red lipstick. So you are probably saying to yourself "What is so interesting about a little girl wanting to play with lipstick?" Well look closely my friends . . . do you see how perfectly the lipstick was applied. She did not color outside of the lines and every part of her smackers are filled in. I can't even apply sexy red lipstick that perfectly. Mark and I are in such trouble.
Mark and Bailey enjoyed a night out together as they attended piano lessons and Activity Days at the church. We are so proud of Bailey as she is working toward the goal of competing in a piano festival. If she receives high enough marks on her performance and skill she will be invited to perform in a piano recital at a real life German castle! We know she can do it and her hard work will pay off. So as McKenna and I spent a quiet evening at home eating grilled cheese and broccoli I was introduced to a three year olds idea of a candle lite dinner. Notice the use of the flashlight which shined on that yummy broccoli from the plate until it reaches the inside of her smackeroos! There was something about that broccoli that fascinated her and held her attention through the whole meal. When I asked her what she was doing she simply replied, "nuffing" and continued with her exploration.

McKenna is so funny I love her version of a candlelight dinner and broccoli is pretty fascinating when you examine it. It's like eating a little tree :) Oh my I don't know what to say about the lip stick she is a little diva.

Hey Leslie! I just got your blog info from Laurie on Sunday when we went up to see Grandma. I'm SO excited to be able to catch up on your life! How exciting! Your girls are beautiful and you and Mark are looking great too! (as always!) I can't wait to start my own blog, providing we can get someone to give me health insurance, I'll be quitting BYU in May. Can't wait to get into blogging! Keep it up! Ü
