I became an aunt once more last year, but this time it was because my one and only sister had her first baby. One of the most difficult things for me while living on the other side of the world is that I have yet to get my hands on this baby and squeeze her cheeks. They look like they would be so squeezable. This picture is from last summer when Ellie was just a little bump on Danette's belly. Because I have yet to see this little one, I don't have an image in my arsenal . . . yet. They are coming in August to visit us! Can't wait to see this little relative of mine and watch Danette and her sweetie act as parents. So in the meantime here are pictures of Danette and Ellie for you to enjoy. Make sure to look through them all or you will miss the adorable pink hat. August cannot come soon enough and I hope that she is not walking by then for I will have missed the entire baby version of my little niece. Danette, do what you can to hold her back! Until then I dedicate this to you Ellie!

Ohh Thanks Leslie! I got love butterflies in my heart from that. I played the song for Ellie and she smiled it was so sweet. Even though we are separated by an ocean you should know you have been my rock through this new motherhood thing helping us and advising us on all the little ups and downs. Thanks for being there for me. You are right August can't come soon enough. (ps I haven't seen that picture before its a good one)

Ellie is so cuddly! Makes me think back to holding you and Danette and Jon. It's so fun to watch you all grow up and be such wonderful parents. You all had some really good teachers. I love you all!
