McKenna and I were in the Optical Center getting my sunglasses fixed. The sunglasses are kind of a running joke in the family because they were such a bold choice for me. They are fabulous, big, glamorous and red baby, plus I got them for 50% off! How can you go wrong?!
McKenna, "Mom, why did the lady take your sunglasses?"
Mom, "The lens popped out and she is going to fix them".
McKenna, "Mom, sure hope they can fix them because you look hot in them!"
What the?! and yes, people were standing all around.
I immediately started cleaning up the confusion.
Mom, "No kidding, every time I put them on I start to sweat" and I'm fanning myself.
McKenna, "No mom, I mean you look hooooooo. . .t" then she proceeded to wink at me . . . twice. Seriously.With her tongue sticking out, cuz that's how she rolls.
